Trust Me Nuh · Account information
A clear understanding.
Account terms · version 2026-09-06
01 · A record, not a lender
Trust Me Nuh helps people keep records of money, gifts and things lent. It does not lend, hold or transfer money, match strangers, guarantee repayment, collect debts or decide disputes. Payments and handoffs happen outside the app.
02 · For adults who know each other
This Jamaica-first pilot is for people aged 18 or older, recording occasional private arrangements with people they already know. Do not use it for public or unlicensed commercial lending, harassment, impersonation or misleading claims.
03 · Account access is separate from agreement
Signing in shows control of an account. It does not verify a WhatsApp number, another person's identity, a payment, possession of an item or consent to a loan. Creating an account does not accept any record. A private note is not a mutual agreement.
04 · Say what actually happened
Enter information honestly and share only what you are entitled to share. Check the named people, amounts, dates and status before taking an action. A reported payment is not the same as a confirmed receipt. Corrections should preserve the earlier claim rather than hide it.
05 · Your choices stay yours
Any agreement is between the people involved. An exported document is an agreement record, not a promise of legal enforceability or legal advice. Get qualified advice where needed. No wording here removes rights that applicable law protects.
06 · An early service
The live pilot starts with private records of money already lent at 0% interest, completed gifts and items already lent. These records belong to the account that creates them. They do not notify, bind or verify the other person. Shared acceptance, payment confirmation, photo uploads and automatic reminders are not part of this first live release. Example records, where offered, are labelled separately.
A record is saved only when the server confirms it. An offline draft or failed request is not saved. Keep important records independently. Registration and new records may pause for capacity, abuse prevention or recovery checks; this does not cancel an arrangement between people. The pilot is free and does not collect payment details or automatically enrol you in a paid plan.
07 · Your account and getting help
Keep control of your Google account or email inbox and do not share sign-in links. We may restrict misuse, but do not use repayment performance to decide access or publish a credit score. Use the contact above for support, a record error, account closure or a privacy request. Do not send passwords or sign-in links.
Optional device services · added 8 September 2026
You can separately enable private calendar dates and browser push reminders in Me. These are optional additions to the initial live release described above. They do not contact your counterparty, confirm a payment or change an agreement. Delivery and calendar refresh times depend on your device and calendar provider.
Push setup stores an encrypted browser subscription and a keyed identifier. Your browser’s push service (such as Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft) processes delivery, potentially outside Jamaica. Notifications contain no names, amounts or item descriptions. Disconnect a device to stop future sends; delivery already in progress may still arrive. Routine cleanup removes reminder jobs older than seven days; outages can delay cleanup. Removing a device connection also removes its queued jobs.
A private calendar link is a bearer credential: anyone holding it, including the calendar provider you choose, can retrieve payment and return dates and opaque record identifiers, without names or amounts. Keep the link private. Replacing or revoking it blocks future refreshes but cannot remove copies already downloaded. The database stores a keyed digest, not the recoverable link. Hosting services process the requested URL; never send your link to support or a public page.
